The Cristero War is also known as Cristiada. It was an armed struggle between the Government and the Church from 1926 to 1929. If was fought between the administration of Plutarco Elias Calles and militias of secular, presbyter and religious Catholics that were against the public policies designed to restrict the autonomy of the Catholic Church. It is estimated that 250 thousand persons died, including citizens and soldiers.
In 1917 a new Constitution was promulgated, establishing a policy of religious intolerance, including the prohibition for the Church to own real estate, the prohibition of public cult outside churches, the State would decide the number of churches and priests in the country, the clergy was denied the right to vote, religious press was not allowed to refer to public issues, elementary school had to be secular and the religious corporations and ministers of cult were prohibited to establish or manage elementary schools.
In 1926, President Plutarco Elias Calles promoted instruments on article 130 of the Constitution to exercise severe control, searching to limit or suppress the participation of churches in public life. Some of these rules were clearly focused against Catholics, such as obligating the ministers to marry and prohibiting religious communities.
As a sign of mourning, many churches in the country suspended cult and the clergy convinced parishioners to boycott the government, such as to not paying taxes, to minimize the purchase of products sold by the government, to not buy lottery tickets and to not use vehicles in order to not buy gasoline. This severely affected national economy and inspired the radicalization of some groups among Mexican Catholics.
Catholic citizens formed the National League for the Defense of Religious Freedom in March 1925. Their goal was to achieve freedom of cult by legal means, but it was declared illegal and thus became an underground movement.
This radicalization grew as a social movement with the goal
Kaepernick, So You Claim To Stand With The People That Are Being Oppressed. So Who Oppressing, Who?, Botched Abortion: Bleeding Woman Rushed to Hospital from Planned Parenthood in Denver?
: Operation Rescue has obtained the CAD report for this incident, which indicates a female patient suffered severe vaginal bleeding after a “procedure.”View the CAD.

Denver, CO — While Planned Parenthood continues to portray itself as a provider of “quality health care,” one patient who was transported to the hospital over the weekend might have something quite different to say about what a Planned Parenthood did to her.
On Saturday, August 13, 2016, an employee of the Stapleton Planned Parenthood, located at 7155 E. 38th Avenue in Denver, Colorado, called for emergency help with a patient who was bleeding badly enough to warrant immediate hospitalization.
Local pro-life activists photographed the incident. Denver Fire Department Radio traffic confirmed in a brief dispatch order that there was a “party bleeding” at the Planned Parenthood facility.
While it is unknown exactly who was responsible for the conducting the abortion, one provider known to work at that facility is Savita Ginde, who serves as Vice President and Medical Director for Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountain.
Ginde was featured in an undercover video released by the Center for Medical Progress discussing the sale of aborted baby remains. She was caught on camera identifying several organs from one dismembered aborted baby that could have netted Planned Parenthood $200 to $300.
“I think the ‘per item’ thing works a little better just because we can see how much we can get out of it,” Ginde told undercover CMP journalist David Daleiden in a discussion about financial compensation for each organ or body part.
“Once the facts come out, the propaganda rhetoric of Planned Parenthood falls apart. In truth, Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion business in the U.S., and they will do just about anything to make money,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue, who also served as a founding board member for the Center for Medical Progress. “It preys on vulnerable pregnant women for profit, but when something goes wrong with the abortion product they sell, Planned Parenthood is nowhere to be found. They pack women off to the emergency room to let someone else clean up their mistakes.”
Pro-life activists have documented other medical emergencies at the Stapleton Planned Parenthood abortion facility, including one on October 26, 2012, when an ambulance was called for a hemorrhaging patient, and another incident on March 5, 2013, for a patient suffering severe abdominal pain after an abortion.
This Planned Parenthood facility was also sued in 2014 for failing to report suspected child sex abuse on a 13-year old girl. She had been raped by her step-father, who arranged the secret abortion to cover up his crime then accompanied her to Planned Parenthood, where her abortion was done with no questions asked.
“Anyone who opposes the blatant exploitation of vulnerable human beings for profit would do well to work to shut this horrendous abortion business down,” said Newman.

Worcester, MA – Yet another ambulance has transported a Planned Parenthood patient to a hospital emergency room– this time from the Central Health Center Planned Parenthood in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The incident occurred on Friday, August 26, 2016. Pro-life activists at the scene at the scene were told by a mailman who was leaving the facility that there was “panic inside” the Planned Parenthood.
Witnesses observed emergency responders bring out an African-American woman on a gurney. She was sitting up and conscious. No more is currently known about her condition.
The Worcester medical emergency is just the latest problem for Planned Parenthood.
Operation Rescue has documented at least a dozen medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood abortion facilities over the past eight months in the following cities:
• Worcester, Massachusetts. African-American patient with unknown injuries.
• Madison, Wisconsin. Hemorrhage.
• Denver, Colorado. Hemorrhage.
• Kalamazoo, Michigan. 15-year old suffering a “Priority 1” life-threatening condition.
• St. Louis, Missouri (3 incidents) All unknown complications due to Fire Department refusal to release information.
• New York City, NY. African-American woman taken to ambulance in a wheelchair.
• Silver Spring, Maryland. African-American woman barely able to walk lifted into ambulance
• San Bernardino, California. Female patient with unknown condition due to failure of San Bernardino to release any 911 records.
• Overland Park, Kansas. Fire Department EMS response to unknown condition.
• Annapolis, Maryland. Transported to hospital with non-life-threatening complications.
“The targeting of poor urban women of color is an obvious pattern in this list. Planned Parenthood is seeking out the most vulnerable women in minority areas for their dubious abortion practices,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “This list is just a small fraction of the actual abortion complications that take place since most manifest after the patient has left the Planned Parenthood abortion center.”
Newman continued, “It’s time for politicians to stop protecting Planned Parenthood and their shoddy abortion practices. Defund them now and shut them down.”

CARACAS, VENEZUELA (AP) – Venezuela is accusing the United States and the country's political opposition of planning a coup for Thursday, the day that government opponents have called for a march to demand a recall vote against President Nicolás Maduro.
The Foreign Ministry's North America agency issued a statement Monday protesting U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby's call for the release of the jailed former mayor of San Cristóbal, Daniel Ceballos, who was taken from his home early Saturday by state intelligence agents and moved back to prison in central Guarico state. He had been under house arrest.
The socialist government said Ceballos was planning to flee before the Thursday protest in Caracas and carry out violent acts to destabilize the country. But the move alarmed the opposition, Washington and human rights groups who consider him a political prisoner.
"The brand and authorship of the coup being planned for September 1, 2016, in Venezuela, in collusion with the anti-democratic opposition and international right, has become clear...," said a North America office statement published on the Foreign Ministry's website. It said President Barack Obama's government "is seeking to destabilize Venezuela and the region in its final days to legitimize its imperial plans against peace and the development of the people."
Venezuela's government has frequently accused Washington and the country's opposition of plotting coups. U.S. officials regularly deny the accusations.
Thursday's opposition march will be to pressure authorities to allow a recall referendum to go ahead. A successful "yes" vote this year would cut short Maduro's term and trigger a new election.
The recall effort comes amid daily, blocks-long food lines and inflation topping 700 percent.
The 32-year-old Ceballos was the leader of a wave of anti-government protests in San Cristóbal that rocked Venezuela in early 2014, leading to more than 40 deaths.
He was initially arrested along with several other activists of his Popular Will party, including opposition leader Leopoldo López. Ceballos has already served a 12-month sentence for disobeying a government order to remove barricades during the protests but still faces civil rebellion charges. He had been in prison but was allowed house arrest after having kidney problems.
He won a congressional primary from behind bars last year but authorities later barred him from holding public office. His wife then won by a landslide in an election to succeed him.
The U.S.-backed opposition has made the release of López, Ceballos and dozens of other activists it considers political prisoners a key demand. Maduro considers the activists dangerous coup-plotters.
