Progressive Multiculturalism How to Destroy America in Eight Steps

the Progressive utopia will be destroyed by the very same dreams of the broader Progressive movement:  Open boarders, multiculturalism, and a generous welfare state.Marxist attack on the culture of the West plus the ‘Multicultural’ boosting of everyone’s self-esteem produces a singularly lopsided, and singularly false, message about the culture of the West– the West is constantly subject to withering scrutiny and calumny, while any non-Western culture is condescendingly praised.

Richard Lamm was the former Governor of Colorado. In 2005, he gave a speech on the dangers of multiculturalism and the eight things than can be done to destroy America. (I was suspicious at first that the speech actually took place, but did some checking and determined that Gov. Lamm did give the speech.) Here is what he said.

"If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that ‘An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.’ Here is how they do it.

3."First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual.

“The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: ‘The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.’ Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, Corsicans, and Muslims."

3.“Second, to destroy America, invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

3."Third, we could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly, 'The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony.[1] Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrcity and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.'

I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school."

5."My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and businesses to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority placation."

6."My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other, that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together.

“Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic Games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. E Pluribus Unum – “From many, one.” In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we will "Balkanize" America as surely as Kosovo."

7.."Next to last [seventh], I would place all subjects off limits. Make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturalism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."

8."Lastly [eighth], I would censor Victor David Hanson’s book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book.”

Admitted socialist and atheist, Dr. Charles Angeletti and Professor at Denver’s Metropolitan State University Forces Students To Recite Pro-Communist ‘New Pledge’ To A Racist America.

“I pledge allegiance to and wrap myself in the flag of the United States Against Anything Un-American and to the Republicans for which it stands, two nations, under Jesus, rich against poor, with curtailed liberty and justice for all except blacks, homosexuals, women who want abortions, Communists, welfare queens, treehuggers, feminazis, illegal immigrants, children of illegal immigrants, and you if you don’t watch your step.”

 Campus Reform, a professor at Denver’s Metropolitan State University has been leading his classes in the compulsory recitation of a rewritten Pledge of Allegiance designed to tear down the U.S. for its perceived shortcomings.

An admitted socialist and atheist, Dr. Charles Angeletti published a flier bearing the text of the proclamation American Civilization students were required to repeat this year.

One student confirmed Angeletti led the class in the openly anti-conservative pledge, noting few in attendance were willing to speak out against what he called “an attempt to propagandize an entire classroom of young adults.”

Campus Reform spoke to the professor who was open about his radical views regarding America and those he blames for making it an intolerant nation.

“We’re very racist,” he alleged, “we’re very repressive, we’re very Christian oriented, we don’t tolerate other kinds of thinking in this country.”

He went on to decry “family values people” for their ostensible role in creating a climate of fear.

Progressivism Claims Another Life

Eric Garner died in July because he resisted arrest, forcing police to take him down the way they take down thousands of suspects daily. Only Garner wasn’t an average suspect. He had allowed himself to become morbidly obese and had diabetes, heart disease and who knows what other self-imposed health problems. Still, he never should have died that summer day.

Big government killed Eric Garner. Police were just the weapon.

Garner was selling “illegal cigarettes” that day, or “loosies” – individual cigarettes from a pack. Why would anyone buy individual cigarettes? Because government, in this case New York, both city and state, have, through exorbitant taxation, made buying a whole pack too expensive for many.

Government’s heavy hand incentivized the creation of a black market for cigarettes. But government’s heavy hand also made selling cigarettes outside of its approved, and taxed, avenues a crime. Government, like the mafia, doesn’t like competition. The mafia will execute you; the government will arrest you.

In Garner’s case, he resisted that arrest and died because his body could not tolerate the force he brought on himself from police. But the police would not have been there had progressive officials and activists not made what Garner was doing into a crime.

Had reselling cigarettes, individually or in packs, not been criminalized by a government wanting its “taste of the action,” Eric Garner still would be alive.

Police have better things to do with their time, more important crimes to investigate, than selling cigarettes individually. But, unlike the newly discovered powers of the president to pick and choose which laws to enforce, when cops get a call, they have to respond—no matter how stupid they may think the “crime” is.

The race-baiting progressives saw an opening in the Garner case and took it. The media, either unwilling or incapable of seeing their philosophy caused this and many other deaths and arrests, followed their lead and made this story about race. Garner is still dead, and repealing the laws that led to his death isn’t even being discussed.

Neither Mayor Bill De Blasio, President Obama nor Attorney General Eric Holder killed Eric Garner. Progressive governance that criminalizes everyday activities did. And so did Garner himself. He didn’t deserve to die by any stretch of the imagination, but he did it to himself.

Not the selling of “loosies.” He didn’t create the stupid law he was breaking, but he resisted arrest. Once he started flailing his arms, he sealed his fate.

If you watch the video, the officer did not put Garner in a “chokehold.” He hooked under his right armpit and around his neck. That is a restraint, not a chokehold. Garner’s right arm was incapacitated, leaving the others to deal with only his left arm. Garner’s decision to continue to struggle caused the officer to lose his grip, which he re-established around his neck.

The officer was perfectly in the right to do that as Garner was fighting, not complying. Letting him go at that moment would’ve put every officer involved in danger. It wasn’t held long, and it wouldn’t have happened at all had Garner, who was no stranger to police or arrest, not caused it to happen.

It’s an inconvenient truth, and a truth very few people want to admit. But it’s a truth nonetheless.

But the deeper truth still holds—it was progressive big government, the overregulation and taxation of everything—that was the first domino to fall in the events that caused Eric Garner’s death.

Over just this weekend, you more than likely will commit a half-dozen crimes of some sort or other. The book “Three Felonies a Day” by Harvey Silverglate, a civil liberties attorney in Boston, explains how over-criminalization and over-regulation has made us all criminals. It’s just a matter of luck that we haven’t encountered someone who knows the obscure corners of the law and/or is inclined to call the police to report us.

The real tragedy of the Garner case is that what he was doing was a crime in the first place. If there’s no oppressive progressive government seeping into all aspects of our lives, there’s no crime committed and no encounter with the police. This fact is lost on the progressives in power, or ignored by them. Individuals don’t matter to progressives beyond their ability to be used as props. Individuals are expendable.

The saddest part of the Garner affair is that the lesson from his death won’t be to roll back the laws that led to the ending of his life, but many of the willfully ignorant, unwashed (and un-showered) masses will embrace the mantra that more government is needed.

The president already has started to push the idea of more federal involvement in local policing. The mayor of New York is pushing “re-education” of the police so they can “better” interact with minority communities. That sounds an awful lot like “separate but equal” application of the law. Black people have different melanin levels, they aren’t a different species. But to progressives they might as well be.

It’s a sick, sad “soft bigotry of low expectations” that would make Goebbels blush. Goebbels famously said, “The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous.”

Liberal Praying To Obama

Christmas Bashing, American Atheists, and the Fairy Tale of Evolution

American Atheists, who represent the religion of the New Atheist movement in the United States, have “launched a billboard campaign in several Bible Belt states urging people to skip church this Christmas and stop listening to ‘fairy tales.’”

The billboards contain this message showing a child writing a letter to Santa Claus: “Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is to skip church! I’m too old for fairy tales.

“‘Even children know churches spew absurdity, which is why they don't want to attend services. Enjoy the time with your family and friends instead,’ said American Atheists President David Silverman. ‘Today's adults have no obligation to pretend to believe the lies their parents believed. It's OK to admit that your parents were wrong about God, and it's definitely OK to tell your children the truth.’”

I find everything that David Silverman and the American Atheists do quite amusing.

“Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is to skip science class! I’m too old for fairy tales that teach that I evolved from something less than pond scum.”

In order to be an atheist, you must forget everything you learned in your high school science classes and adopt the error of spontaneous generation – life from non-life – a fairy tale that was disproved nearly two centuries ago.

The evolutionary worldview that stands behind the atheists’ religious belief system is built on the biggest fairy tale of them all, that matter, to which atheists have no way to account for, became David Silverman and the rest of us.

Not only can’t Silverman and his fellow atheists account for matter, but they can’t account for the information necessary to animate the organic machines that they claim developed and evolved without any outside intelligence.

Consider this from the people who are trying to create artificial life. First, designers are involved in the process. Artificial life has not and will not come into existence and “evolve” on its own. Second, “With 100 billion neurons and 37 trillion cells, the human body is simply too complex to be artificially designed by modern computers.” But we’re to believe that the complexity of the human body came into existence and evolved to its present capacity on its own.

Atheists must deny what they were taught in science class in order their belief system. Spontaneous generation, the basis for evolution, is a fairy tale. It’s the world of “Abracadabra,” “open sesame,” and poof, a prince has been turned into a frog!

In his book The Greatest Show on Earth, Dawkins lays the groundwork for the Darwinian fairy tale:

“We have no evidence about what the first step in making life was, but we do know the kind of step it must have been. It must have been whatever it took to get natural selection started. Before that first step, the sorts of improvement that only natural selection can achieve were impossible. And that means the key step was the rising, by some process as yet unknown, of a self-replicating entity.”[1]

This isn’t science! It’s no wonder that one of Dawkins’ books is titled The Magic of Reality. He writes that “rocks don’t feel joy or jealousy, and mountains do not love. These emotions are intensely real to those who experience them, but they didn’t exist before brains did”[2] According to evolutionists, we were once the stuff of rocks and mountains. So how did we become what we never were?

It's one of the reasons David Stove wrote Darwinian Fairytales: Selfish Genes, Errors of Heredity, and Other Fables of Evolution. Stove is "not a 'creationist,' or even a Christian. In fact," he writes, "I am of no religion."[3]. Even so, he knows that there's a great deal wrong with the Darwinian model. That's why he describes it as a fairy tale. But since grownups teach and promote it, it must really be science.

Evolution is about magic, conjuring something out of nothing. Until evolutionists demonstrate (1) the origin of matter out of nothing (abracadabra), (2) how inorganic matter evolved into organic matter (abiogenesis), (3) the origin of information and its meaningful organization (DNA programming), and (4) a genetic explanation for why it is mandatory that anyone be moral (ethics), evolution is little more than a fairytale dressed up in shining armor.

Consider the following on “Probability and the Origin of Life” by Robert E. Kofahl:

“For roughly fifty years secular scientists who have faith in the power of dumb atoms to do anything have been carrying on scientific research aimed at finding out how the dumb atoms could have initiated life without any outside help. Since they believe that this really happened, they believe that it was inevitable that the properties of atoms, the laws of physics, and the earth’s early environment should bring forth life. More sober minds, however, have realized the immense improbability of the spontaneous origin of life (called ‘abiogenesis’). Some have made careful investigations and mathematical calculations to estimate what the probability is for abiogenesis to occur. Their calculations show that life’s probability is extremely small, essentially zero.”

Start with nothing  . . . absolutely nothing. No air. No matter . . . not even an atom. No energy. No space. No thought. No time. Just a long dead silence. This is the evolutionist’s reality before the dawn of something becoming everything. At some infinitesimal moment in time all the stuff that makes up our world came into being, the atheists tell us. Like the Millennium Falcon coming out of light speed, the cosmos appeared, the difference being, there was no Millennium Falcon or light to measure its speed. Once there was nothing, now there is everything.

If as Dawkins says, teaching fairytales to children is dangerous, then teaching them the fairytale of evolution is the most dangerous fairytale of them all.

It can be said that progressivism at its core seeks to turn the world upside down.

It is an ideology and a tactic of modern-day Sophists who seek to replace facts with narrative, justice with injustice, morality with immorality and virtue with vice — but it does so with a smile on its face.

Consequently, in order to identify whether one is in fact living in a progressive Utopia, one merely needs to identify instances in one’s society, economy and political system, themselves a natural outgrowth of the culture (itself an outgrowth of the ideas that a people has imbibed), in which facts, logic and history have been shoved aside in favor of the whims of the wise collective.

1) When the executive branch has effectively become the legislative branch
