There’s no doubt that some people voted to leave the European Union due to xenophobic overtones, yet the majority of the “Leave” camp was focused on wresting back control from Brussels. It was time to reclaim British sovereignty over its own laws and regulations. The results of the June 24 vote sent a shockwave throughout the world, cost Prime Minister David Cameron his career in public life, and could trigger the end of the EU, as other nations, including Germany and France, clamor for their won referendum votes. It’s an outcry of freedom that’s being viewed as racist and xenophobic in the eyes of the news media.

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour is probably the worst offender, calling the results of Brexit grounded in xenophobia and “nationalistic, white identity politics.” The people want their country back—it’s not necessarily a terrible concept. As Cortney wrote earlier this week, Amanpour went on the offensive against Conservative MP Daniel Hannan, trying to paint the entire Leave campaign as racist. Hannan pushed back effectively against those claims, noting that there are some horrible people in the country harassing those perceived to be foreigners, but that isn’t representative of the Leave campaign—unless you watch Amanpour’s coverage.

The United Kingdom isn’t going to devolve into something seen in the movies, like Children of Men, where the country has literally shut down its borders, rounded up illegal immigrants, and become viciously anti-immigrant. It’s a pure dystopia. But that’s not Brexit. It’s the people saying they want their country back. That’s not racist or xenophobic. It’s common sense. The UK is still going to allow immigration, they’re still going to trade with the nations of Europe, and they’re still going to deal with the EU. It’s not the end of the world, folks. Then again, given how the liberal media is obsessed about race, we shouldn't be shocked that they're smearing the entire Leave camp as a bunch of xenophobic troglodytes.

Oh, so European-style gun control didn’t stop these extremists from storing rifles near this German mosque, huh?

 




A German police raid found what is believed to be a “war grade weapons” cache near a mosque in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine Westphalia). The arsenal belonged to a group of Islamic extremists. The UK’s Express wrote that Germany has seen a spike in radical Islamists, and that the findings of this raid raised the concerns of Ismail Tipi, a German member of parliament, who says that it only confirms his feelings that these fundamentalist Salafists groups are ready to use violence against the civilian population:

Local politician Ismail Tipi revealed details of the raid and warned of “the danger of fundamentalists”.

Germany has seen sharp increases in the number of ultra-conservative Islamists known as Salafists in recent years, with the total number of sympathisers now seen at 8,900, up from 7,000 at the end of 2014, German officials said.
He said: “According to my information, a weapons arsenal with war grade weapons was found in this search.
“The danger of fundamentalist Salafists who are ready to use violence arming themselves in Germany is very large. This secret raid finding this weapons cache makes this more than clear.”

So, while Congressional Democrats wage war on Capitol Hill over passing more gun control to stop terrorism, which is absurd—let’s revisit the nation’s gun laws. To no one’s surprise, Germany has very strict gun control laws. There’s no constitutional right to bear arms, so the government can pass intrusive enforcement measures to ensure compliance, one of which is pretty much warrantless searches to make sure citizens are following safe storage regulations (via Library of Congress):

Germany has one of the most stringent gun control laws in the world. The current Weapons Act deals with guns suitable for private ownership. It contains a highly differentiated regime for licensing the acquisition, possession, and carrying of permitted weapons that restricts, according to criteria of need, the number and types of guns that can be owned or purchased, and has specific age restrictions for different types of weapons. The Act bans automatic firearms, regulates the production of and trade in weapons, and has reporting requirements that allow the tracing of every legally owned firearm, including those acquired through inheritance. Moreover, the Act contains stringent and enforceable requirements for the safe storage of guns. The Act is implemented by the administrative authorities of the states, except for the newly created National Weapons Register, which is a federal agency.

Germany categorizes firearms as either weapons of war or weapons suitable for civilian use. War weapons are listed in the War Weapons Act and cannot be circulated among the population.[48] Weapons that are potentially suitable for civilian use are governed by the Weapons Act and its prohibitions and restrictions.
The Weapons Act bans fully automated firearms. It also bans semiautomatic firearms that are not intended for hunting or sport shooting; pump-action shotguns with pistol grips or of a short overall length; firearms that are concealed in other objects; firearms that can be disassembled into unusually small parts; lasers, lights, projectors, and night-vision devices that can be mounted on the firearm to throw light on the target; and certain multiple-shot short arms in calibers under 6.3 millimeters, where the projectiles are not propelled solely by the priming charge.

Licensed gun owners are responsible for keeping their weapons under lock and key, and the law provides detailed specifications on the quality of the storage containers; these vary according to the potency of the weapons. Owners must inform the authorities of the safe-storage measures taken as well as allow the authorities to enter their dwellings for the purpose of monitoring compliance with safe-storage regulations.
It appears that such access must be granted without a search warrant, and, even though the German Constitution protects the privacy of the home, access cannot be refused if there is a threat of imminent danger. Random inspections, however, must be expected at any time and without any probable cause or suspicion. This increased right of the authorities to conduct inspections was enacted in 2009 in response to the Winnenden school shooting, and much has been said about the interpretation of this right.

So, yeah—Germany has probably what American liberals would want to institute here if they could, and Islamic radicals were able to obtain mass quantities of firearms. That’s not to say we should do nothing, but when it comes to fighting terrorism—maybe divert monetary and political resources to intelligence services and law enforcement, rather than disarming law-abiding Americans.

Salon Writer: White Conservatives Are Racist Against … White Bill Clinton? Now?

 



All the racists who didn’t vote for America’s first black president have a chance to redeem themselves this year by voting for his wife, Hillary Clinton.

History Professor and Salon contributor, Nancy Isenberg, has added another thrilling volume to the long tradition of groundless, Marxist histories. White Trash: The 400-Year Untold History of Class in America explains how racism against impoverished white people, like Former President Slick Willy, is basically on par with historical racism against blacks.

As Isenberg unfolds the narrative, she nails everything that’s wrong with America: the government’s too small, the “1%” controls everything, conservatives are white plantation owners in disguise, and there aren’t enough abortions.

Isenberg rehashes the old liberal defense of Bill Clinton’s “trumped-up presidential adultery scandal” and other notorious behavior. Being from the oppressed “white trash” “class,” Clinton was essentially “the first black president.” Conservatives didn’t like him because their elite snobbery couldn’t tolerate “black culture.” This (incredibly racist) form of apologetics saturates every discussion of Clinton in the book.

It also provides the basis for Isenberg’s criticism of conservatives as plantation-owning eugenicists in disguise.

According to Isenberg, conservatives are employing the same old tactics as their (Democratic Party) ancestors, the slave owners of the 19^th century. “The deceivers [conservatives] offer essentially the same fear-laden message that the majority of southern whites heard when secession was being weighed.”

What are these age-old tactics? Telling poor white folk that the liberals in Hollywood and East Coast professors “make fun of them and have nothing in common with them and hate America and wish to impose an abhorrent, godless lifestyle.”

It’s not clear from what Isenberg says whether her complaint is that Hollywood isn’t full of radical liberals or that Hollywood being full of radical liberals isn’t a bad thing.

Although conservatives say liberals hate poor whites, conservatives have really taken “the lead in white trash bashing.” Listening to Obama – who has struggled to win the Midwest and Deep South – one might have mistakenly thought leftists had taken the lead on that front.

The end goal for conservatives, according to Isenberg, is to keep the poor out of the economy by lowering taxes for the “1%.” For Isenberg, “banks, tax policy, and corporate giants” are some of key sources of poverty in America.

Most parents take their kids to the doctor, or to have operations, for football injuries, really bad cases of strep, perhaps the kid fell off their bike? Or, had some kind of mishap in the pool?
Or, maybe your transgender son, who thinks he’s a girl, needed his testosterone blocker switched out, and gets an erection during recovery? No?

Well, on Wednesday night’s edition of TLC’s I Am Jazz, titled “Your Body May Be Rejecting the Implant,”…that happened:

Jazz: What happened?

Mom: You had your surgery, baby. You're done. I'm gonna lift your head up. You're all done.
Sander: Look, you got a heart.

Nurse: So, they put some numbing medicine here, too, okay? So...
Jazz: Oh, it's a heart.

Mom: Like, "Okay, she's awake, she's acting weird, but jazz is weird." Are you uncomfortable?
Jazz: I have a boner. I'm sorry.

Sander: Did you hear what she said? I sometimes forget that she has that down there.
Jazz: Is that bad?

Mom: Yeah, you're filming, baby. You're being filmed.
Jazz: Oh.

Mom: I did not see this coming, but she's awake, and she's laughing, and it's good. I love you so much. I was worried about you. I was really worried.

Jazz: Why?

Mom: 'Cause I felt like it was taking longer, and I didn't get to see you, and then when you're laying here with the mask on, I don't like that.

Jazz: I'm doing great. You shouldn't be worried, mom.

Mom: I was very worried. But I'm okay now. Love you.

Jazz: I love you, too. She is my mom, so it's kind of like she's overreacting, but it's okay, 'cause I do understand it. She's nervous about me, and that's a good thing, but hopefully, she'll realize that everything went well and that there was no reason to get upset.
Nurse: Up you go.

Mom: I know, I know.

Sander: Why?

Mom: She knows.

Sander: I do not understand that at all.

Mom: It's okay. When I see that Jazz is listed as a male on her wristband, it has my blood boiling.

LOS ANGELES (AllPolitics, Aug. 21) -- A president embroiled in a sex scandal in the Oval Office tries to save his presidency by distracting the nation with a made-for-TV war far from American soil in an obscure country.
It's not the latest news out of Washington, but the plot of the movie "Wag the Dog." In the 1997 movie, a shadowy spin doctor played by Robert De Niro recruits a Hollywood producer (Dustin Hoffman) to invent a war against Albania.
The film came out just before the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke -- and no doubt benefited at the box office and then at the video store from the publicity. Now, the film is all the buzz again because of President Clinton's announcement -- three days after admitting for the first time an inappropriate relationship with Ms. Lewinsky -- that he ordered military strikes in two countries.




Going into the Independence Day weekend, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews played the role of creeper on Friday’s Andrea Mitchell Reports as he excused former President Bill Clinton chatting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch amid Hillary’s FBI investigation because Bill is like the late Elvis Presley and “[h]is tail wags when he sees somebody he knows.”

Host Andrea Mitchell brought Matthews onto give his thoughts about the Clinton/Lynch meeting and Matthews began the short appearance with a head-scratching exclamation about “[w]hat a menu you’re giving me today to discuss.”

Mitchell summarized the widespread concerns among Republicans and some Democrats about the meeting before Matthews took over with his bumbling cadence about how “we know Bill Clinton, he’s like — he’s the big dog.”

From there, the mood grew only more awkward as Matthews emphasized that Clinton’s nickname is “[t]he Big Dawg” and “Elvis” who “gush[es] when you meet him” even “if you had a hard time with a journalist, he still comes up and says hi.”

If one thought Matthews was done with the head-shaking lines for the week (which can be seen here, here, and here), he dropped this comparison that could be easily taken as an inappropriate innuendo [emphasis mine]:

He's — he’s very friendly. His tail wags when he sees somebody he knows. It’s just who he is. I know he has a high IQ and somewhere said, my God, this person could be prosecuting my wife potentially, potentially, I should say out of this one, but that sort of the super ego, that doesn't work with Bill Clinton....So, I wouldn’t make it, but the people on the hard right, and in an adversarial situation will make the most of it.

Earlier in the show, Mitchell complained that the Clinton/Lynch meeting on a plane in Arizona has “overshadowed” Hillary Clinton’s campaign and especially since both President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden plan to stump for her next week.

Here More Proof That Men Being Inside Women Rest Room, Locker Room And Dress Room At Target IS A Bad Idea, And Liberal's Say Nothing Happening

BEDFORD, New Hampshire, July 1, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) — A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with violation of privacy last week after he allegedly recorded underage girls in a Target changing room.

The incident allegedly took place at a New Hampshire Target store on June 22, just days after the two-month anniversary of the retail giant’s announcement of a new policy allowing biological men to access women’s restrooms and dressing rooms and vice versa.

According to the Bedford Police Department, the man was Zachary Bishop of Raymond, New Hampshire. He fled the Target store before the police arrived but subsequently turned himself in after police issued a warrant for his arrest.   

The arrest comes amid fears that the transgender bathroom policies sweeping the nation, like that adopted at Target, provide easier access for predators. Bishop would not be the first person to take advantage of the broad-reaching policies. 

In February, a Seattle man entered a swimming pool changing room and undressedin front of a young girls’ swim team, claiming he had the right to do so under transgender policies.

In 2014, it was revealed that a convicted rapist who once sexually assaulted a five-year-old girl claimed to be transgender in order to gain access to a women’s shelter, where he again assaulted women.

Since rolling out its new policy, Target's stock has plummeted. The company’s CEO has defended the rule allowing men in women’s restrooms as “inclusive,” despite more than 1 million people signing an American Family Association (AFA) petition to boycott Target and pushback from shareholders.
