On college campuses all across the country, the Class of 2020 is all set to begin a new phase in life. If the stories we’ve witnessed this past week are any indication, it’s only the beginning of what may unfold in the bubble of academia for them —in both the semesters and years to come.

Changing course from the political correctness embraced by today's campuses, theUniversity of Chicago surprisingly took the side of free inquiry and free expression over "safe spaces” and "trigger warnings.”

"You will find that we expect members of our community to be engaged in rigorous debate, discussion, and even disagreement. At times this may challenge you and even cause discomfort," wrote Dean of Students John (Jay) Ellison. Click here to read Tyler O’Neil’s take on the impact of this decision.

It’s business as usual at other universities.

The State University of New York named an event "Stop White People 2016," which is focused on "diversity, privilege, and the society we function in.” The vice president of student affairs eventually apologized for the controversial name. Read the updated story by clicking here

Meanwhile, University of Texas at Austin students protested the lawful carrying of concealed weapons on campus…by carrying around sex toys. Click here to sound off on the “C*cks Not Glocks” campaign

It gets even worse. The taxpayer-funded Northwestern State University has imposed a speech code on students that requires an application and limits public demonstrations to “one, 2-hour time period every 7 days.”

At Virginia Tech, students are locked out of registering for classes unless they complete an online course focused on “diversity" — in addition to ones on sexual assault and alcohol.

But the real story is the “contributing scholars” with the for-profit DiversityEdu, the company that produces the program. Click here to get a taste of its agenda and to meet the multiculturalist activists.

Lastly, there’s the University of California-San Diego, where one student appears to be guilty before being proven innocentall at the mercy of a professorClick here to read the shocking case
