Character Assassination VIDEO: MSNBC’s Chris Hayes: Opposition to Same-Sex Marriage is an ‘Indicator of Moral Depravity’ Meaning Shut the hell up and do as you are told

MSNBC, in lieu of actual news, has opted to carve a niche in the 24/7 news cycle by saying purely outrageous things. From Martin Bashir’s epic rant against Sarah Palin to Melissa Harris-Perry’s racist ramblings about Mitt Romney’s family to Ed Schultz’s many, many racist and misogynistic utterings, the network that claims to “lean forward” often makes headlines for their willingness to say crazy things.

w, we can add to this list a recent assertion by MSNBC’s Chris Hayes who claimed that opposition to homosexual marriage can serve as an “indicator of moral depravity.”
Well, that’s certainly ironic…
On a recent edition of “All In with Chris Hayes” where featured guest Sam Seder compared traditional marriage supporters to ISIS, Hayes would not be outdone in the leftwing crazy department and chimed in.
When Seder claimed that there is a consensus in America that is pro-homosexual marriage (despite the majority of voters in the majority of states having already approved bans on such adulterations of the institution of marriage), Hayes replied,
Yes, I know, exactly! That’s exactly right. It has become an indicator of moral depravity. The persecution of gay people has now become a human rights violation and an indicator of moral depravity for people that conservatives want you to hate.
What Hayes is really talking about is two separate things: many Americans are against persecuting homosexuals and simultaneously for upholding the definition of marriage that has stood as a pillar of societal stability for thousands of years.
Yes, “persecuting” homosexuals is wrong; however, refusing to validate their unions as “marriages” is hardly a form of persecution and definitely far from a “human rights violation.”
It is this kind of moonbat rhetoric upon which the left relies to try and end a conversation. Liberals push these principles as means of stifling opposition and we are expected to believe that “the debate is over” on global warming, that anything Al Sharpton says is racist is, in fact,  racist and that opposition to the adulteration of the definition of marriage is, somehow, indicative of low morality.
Character assassination is the go-to tool of leftist hacks.
