On Monday morning, neighbors at the couple’s high-end Los Angeles apartment complex heard arguing just before hearing up to 10 gunshots. SWAT team members arrived and discovered the bodies, reports TMZ and KTLA.
Authorities tell TMZ that Hayes’ motive was his 30-year-old wife’s alleged infidelity with singer Trey Songz two years ago — about the time they decided to separate. The pair would eventually reconcile, but a friend says, “He was crushed and never got over it.”
